CNC VMC Machining

CNC VMC Machining in Chennai

VMC machining is the core of what we do — it’s the process behind most of the components that leave our shop, whether that’s a single prototype or a production run of five hundred identical parts.

What our VMC setup can handle

Our VMC machine runs a working envelope of approximately 850 × 510 × 510 mm, which covers most mid-to-large precision components without needing to split a job across multiple machines. Paired with a 4th-axis rotary setup, we can machine multiple faces and complex angles in a single fixture — which matters more than it sounds like it should. Every time a part gets re-fixtured, you introduce a small chance of error. Doing it once, accurately, is how tolerances actually hold.

Where this fits

  • Precision milling for components with tight dimensional tolerances
  • Multi-sided and angled parts that would otherwise need multiple setups
  • Helical profiles, sensor housings, and gear-adjacent geometries using the 4th-axis
  • Complex 3D surface profiles
  • Both single-piece prototypes and small-to-medium production batches

How we approach a job

Before anything gets machined, we run your drawing through a manufacturability check — flagging anything that might be difficult to hold to tolerance or awkward to fixture, so there are no surprises mid-job. Programming is done in CAD/CAM ahead of time, which is what lets us hold consistency across a batch instead of hand-adjusting between pieces.

Materials

We regularly machine aluminium, mild steel, stainless steel, brass, and engineering plastics — if you’re working with something less common, tell us the spec and we’ll confirm feasibility.
